The Rosamunde Pilcher Bank House (previously owned by the writer and now by her daughter-in-law) is a large, spacious two-floor flat, in the last year beautifully renovated throughout, situated in the High Street of Dornoch, Scotland right opposite the cathedral. With oil-fired central heating, it is a self-catering holiday home with a difference, with four comfortable double bedrooms and three shower rooms, with one also having a bath; a well-sized modern kitchen with large pine table for breakfast/dinner; a relaxing, sun-lit sitting room with open gas fire and large bay window that looks out onto the cathedral. At the rear of the building, there is an extensive private garden with flowerbeds and sloping lawns. The Pilcher Bank House has a wonderfully central location with all the best shops, restaurants and pubs situated within minutes of the property. Car parking is on the street and free throughout Dornoch. It is only a ten-minute walk to the famous Royal Dornoch Golf Club, and then a further five minutes will take you on to the unspoiled lengths of Dornoch beach, perfect for a bucket and spader or for walking the dog.
